Sam Ray, a proud native of Indiana, brings an extensive wealth of expertise in property management and real estate. His experience spans commercial real estate as a broker, owner, and investor, coupled with a robust background in development, construction, and marketing.

Sam's journey began with a strong foundation in construction, management, and business skills honed through his education at Vincennes University (A.S.) and Purdue University-West Lafayette (B.S.) where he graduated from one of the nation’s top Construction Management Programs.

Throughout his career, Sam has cultivated a diverse and distinguished clientele, including high-net-worth investors and owners, private equity funds, family trusts, developers, and financial institutions.

As the leader of Catava Properties, Sam oversees operations and drives excellence in property management and real estate investment transactions across Indiana and neighboring states. In addition to his role at Catava, Sam is a co-owner and broker at R.J. Bowden Companies, where he focuses on brokerage services and investor management across Indiana and other regions of the U.S.

Currently working towards becoming a CCIM professional, Sam is actively involved in various industry associations, including the Society of Exchange Counselors, Indiana Real Estate Exchangors, Kentucky Real Estate Exchangors, Central Illinois Real Estate Exchange Group, and Ohio Commercial Real Estate Exchangors.

Beyond his professional commitments, Sam is dedicated to his community, engaging in his church, local associations, and various charitable endeavors.

Sam resides in St. John in NWI, with his wife Alexis and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, attending Purdue basketball games, traveling with his family, and coaching his children’s sports teams.
